YOUR HOMESCHOOL WRITING SOLUTION

How I Can Help Your Middle Schooler Get Beyond The Frustration Of Writing

Your child loves to express themselves, but often finds writing complicated and frustrating. This is compounded when your child is neurodiverse.

As a parent, I know how difficult it can be to teach certain subjects to your children. My own child was failing English in 8th grade (ADHD and gifted and he used the same text book as I did in my 8th grade ELA classroom at the time), but he wouldn’t take instruction or help from me. It was so frustrating for both of us!

If you have the same struggles, I can help you with this. As a caring, encouraging teacher, I want to help you both. Your child CAN thrive and become a more confident writer!

Hey there! I’m Kathie Harsch, and I’ve been teaching middle school students both in public schools and homeschoolers for 29 years. I’m also a writer who is neurodiverse.

So, I understand the struggles that many of my students have with executive functioning, sensory needs, over and under stimulation, and attention differences.

Over the years, I have learned many strategies and techniques that have helped thousands of students over the years to find their writer’s voice. After three years of teaching online with Outschool, I now, offer my best LIVE courses here on my website.

Each section below tells what the course is about, who I designed the course for, whether its small group or private 1:1. Additionally, you can find out more in-depth info with the button below each course and sign-up if you find a course that you’d like your child to access.
