Hey there! I’m Kathie,

creator of Teach2Write

As a writing coach and teacher, I created Teach2Write to help teachers, students, and writers with proven strategies and techniques to improve their writing and digital skills.

If you are here – you are either a teacher of middle school writers and/or a writer. You may have wondered how to improve writing skills.

I believe everyone is a writer. Also, I believe you can refine your writing skills by writing every day and using what I teach here.

From years of teaching and studying various writing books, authors and teachers, I have compiled many writing strategies and techniques that work.  Additionally, I can share what I’ve learned from writing and self-publishing 5 books on Amazon.

So, writers, you can write the stories readers will love! I can show you how, like I have with thousands of students in the last 26 years.

And teachers create writers in your classroom using the writing workshop approach that gives students voice and choice to express themselves.

Together we can do just that!

Testimonials for Teach2Write

My favorite part about this resource was the narrative writing. I used this at the end of last year, but I am actually going to start with this writing piece at the beginning of this year. Students wrote about a challenging time in their life, and you really get to tap into what they’ve gone through or are going through.

You were the first teacher to help spark the craving to write and convey a message to the masses.

My student loved this guide! It was comprehensive and specific and definitely aligned to the standard we have been working on. She needs scaffolding and differentiation, so it was a wonderful guided resource.
